Why am I running for Social Credit? In 1971, Social Credit left an $860 million budget surplus in trust and maintained an adequate infrastructure debt free. Through Progressive Conservative mismanagement during an earlier oil boom and a downturn in the economy, the Province went $30 billion dollars in debt. Subsequent mismanagement got us out of debt but left us with a serious infrastructure deficit.
My most pressing concern in the election is Health Care and the most vulnerable of society. I experienced my own personal health problems with a 1983 heart attack, 1986 diabetes and asthma, 1992 cancer and several ailments. All of my symptoms were successfully treated with alternative natural medicines and adjustments by a professional health care provider. I have been off puffers for asthma and on chart for sugar count for eleven years. With a stable PSA count, my urologist says I no longer need to see him. I refused an operation and radiation treatment saving Medicare huge sums of money. Both the Klein and Stelmach governments have chosen to ignore my need for funding in spite of what I saved Medicare.
